Ski Plans Testimonial
And that's a picture of my completed chair on the right---->

Hi kind folks at Ski Chair,
So you know when you look around your garage and you see 5 pairs of skis you don't use any more (and you realize maybe you go through skis a bit too easily...) and you don't want to throw them out. What to do... what to do. My handy search engine Google, pointed me to your site and I bought your plans, bought a bunch of redwood, cut up 3 pairs of my old skis and made one of your ski chairs. Picture is attached. Ok, so nobody's sitting in it, I keep trying to get my cat to sit in it but he just won't wear the sunglasses. If I ever accomplish that feat (which will be harder than building the chair), I will forward that picture.  At any rate, the templates were dead on (although my jig saw skills were not so much for the first few cuts), the instructions easy to follow and making this chair was a lot of fun. I even coerced my family to give me some of their old skis so I can make a second one.

Thanks for providing such a fun way for me to recycle my skis and get some great deck furniture!
